Mainconcept has a new line of new products available. But in this post, I will not use any of their new products. Instead, I'll be using the old version of Mainconcept MPEG Encoder. Since I started to author DVD's it has been my File Converter.
It's very simple to use.
Just launch the program and load your file to convert by clicking open on the video source box.
This will load your video on the panel ready for conversion.
Next, select your profile or the desired file output format on the drop-down list. You may also want to change the location of your output file in case you have low disc space on your current hard drive. Since we are converting for DVD authoring, we will set it on DVD. But there are also other options. There is also an NTSC and PAL option.
After you have set everything in place. You are ready, the next step is the easiest.

Click convert to start converting your files. After conversion, you can now import the DVD file on your authoring Software.

Hi! I was just wondering how can I export from Softni Subtitler some files to make a DVD. I've been subtitling for some companies but I'd like to make my own DVD with some Subtitles and definitely this is a better software when it comes to spotting. My mail is buffystar@datafull.com. Thanks! Great blog!
